What is Permanent Make-up

Permanent Make-up is ideal to create a natural looking eyebrow even when there is little or no hair and perfectly sculpted eyebrow. The eyes can be opened up by subtle addition of Black colour.

Permanent cosmetic make-up is the art and science of implanting colour into your skin. Sometimes you will see permanent make-up referred to as ‘cosmetic tattooing’ or semi-permanent make-up as the result can fade over time.I use specialised sterile instruments to place hypoallergenic colour pigments into the deeper layer of skin-derma.Over a 10 day period, the colour will slowly fade as it is naturally exfoliated from skin/30%-60% pigment going away/leaving the true colour embedded in the dermis. You will need to return one month later for complimentary control procedure, during which the colour may be balanced if necessary.

Will I Really Look Like Myself?

Permanent make-up helps to give you back precious time you normally spend’putting on your face’.You can save up to 100 hours in a single year struggling to draw eyebrows evenly or eyeliner half-way straight.Plus the money you’ll save buying new and expensive cosmetics that rub off, smear, smudge and dissapear during the day.Permanent make-up is not intended to replace cosmetics completely.Because the color is placed’in’ your skin and not ‘on’ your skin a more natural, softer look result. When you ready to go out for a night-on-the-town,you can apply as much additional make-up as you wich.

Does Permanent Make-up Hurt?

New topical anaesthetics have been developed especially for permanent make-up. These are applied to the desire area before and during the procedure to assure you of the most comfortable experience possible. Some people describe the sensation as a’ tingling’ feeling or similiar feeling to having their eyebrows plucked or legs waxed. Most people experience some discomfort, especialy for lip colour procedures. It is common to hear that there was not as much pain as was expected.

You will look like you’ve had a good cry for a couple of hours following eyeliner with a little swelling next 2-3 days.Eyebrow procedure have the least swealing.Lipcolour often involves temporary swelling.I will need to know if you have a history of cold sores so your GP can prescribe anti-viral medication before you undergo lip procedure to prevent to create cold sore. You will be advised to commence anti-viral tablet 2-3 days before procedure.

Will II Be Able To Go Out Without Everyone Noticing?

After a procedure the area will be darker, more in tense. This will last for a few days until the area exfoliates and the true colour emerges.Generally it is only you notices the darker colour.Swelling will go down usually by the end of day.It is suggested that if you are having an eyeliner proceduer that you bring a pair of dark glasses with you/as you may look as if you have been crying./A little inconvenient but long term results are well worth it.

How Long Will My Permanent Make-up Last?

Permanent make-up is long-lasting.You will want to freshen up your new make-up every year and half or two depends how your skin and body accept pigment .The darker the colour, the longer it will stay unchanged in your skin.Natural, delicate colours are oftentimes more vulnerable to the effects of sun, swimming and breakdown by body.

Do The Pigments Pose Allergy Problems?

The application is just deep enough to penetrate the minute capillaries in the dermal layer of skin. There have been so few reactions to the pigments that some doctors are suggesting that the patch test be eliminated. You can develop an allergy to anything, anytime.
